Aelite Implant and Dental Centre opened in 2016, and is the official affiliated clinic of Bukit Timah Nam Seng Dental Surgery.
Aelite Implant and Dental Centre was opened to allow for expansion and to be able to cater to the increasing care and dental needs of patients. The clinic is newly renovated, with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities to provide quality and efficient dental care.
Our dental surgeons have a multitude of experience across various specializations from simple fillings, extractions, scaling and polishing, to restorative and more complex procedures like dentures, crowns, bridges, dental implants, wisdom tooth surgery, root canal treatment, teeth whitening and more.
We are also a CHAS dental clinic, and provide subsidies for patients with CHAS, Merdeka, or pioneer generation cards.
Aelite Implant & Dental Center History:
The late Mr Koh Eng Bah, was a Second Division Registered Dentist and the founder of Bukit Timah Nam Seng Dental Surgery in the 1950s. When patients think of Nam Seng Dental Surgery, they inevitably recall Mr Koh, in his white collared shirt and white long pants, working tirelessly to provide the best for each and everyone of his patients. Mr Koh Eng Bah was well loved by his patients for always putting them his priority, working through lunch time, even opening the clinic in the middle of the night for a patient with a broken denture or a toothache. He was adept in making his own dentures, setting up tooth by tooth beautifully, back when dental clinics do not frequently send their dentures to external labs for fabrication. Mr Koh constantly invited his patients to share a table with the dentists and staff of Nam Seng Dental to enjoy a homecooked meal together during lunch.
Bukit Timah Nam Seng Dental Surgery was not just a dental clinic, but a homely community. Mr Koh Eng Bah worked till he was 85 years old, and even after his retirement, he would frequent the clinic to sit and talk with his patients, or rather, friends. When memory started failing him in his late years, he would somehow still remember the names of his patients and the dentures he had made for them. Bukit Timah Nam Seng Dental Surgery is Mr Koh Eng Bah’s legacy, and his work ethic and admirable reputation that he built for the clinic is something that our dentists will always look up to and inspire to follow. Bukit Timah Nam Seng Dental Surgery is now run by Mr Koh Eng Bah’s son, Dr Koh Eng Kian.
