Dr Shawn Tan obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Adelaide (Australia), where he graduated with Distinction. He strongly believes in the provision of a gentle and pain free dental environment where patients feel cared for, just as how he will treat his loved ones.
Dr Shawn has worked across metropolitan and rural placements in Australia which has enabled him to treat patients across a broad age group with complex dental needs. Driven by his commitment to provide quality dental work, Dr Shawn has also been actively engaging in continuing education courses both locally and abroad to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry.
With years of experience in the field, Dr Shawn is proficient in a wide range of procedures including wisdom teeth surgery, prosthetic dental crowns & bridges as well as general preventative and restorative treatment, with special interest in root canal treatment and dental implants.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys good food and unwinds by playing soccer and basketball.
